Interactive Objects elected to a seat on the OMG Board of Directors



Freiburg, December 2, 2004. Interactive Objects, one of the pioneers in Model Driven Architecture® (MDA®) technology, today announces that its CEO, Erich Gerber, has been elected to the Object Management Group’s™ (OMG™) Board of Directors for the period of 2005 to 2007. The OMG is an international standardization organization with over 600 members worldwide and owns standards for software engineering such as CORBA®, UML® or MDA. Interactive Objects joins the Board together with representatives from companies like SUN, IBM, BEA Systems or HP.

Besides the regular duties of a Board of Directors, it is also the final decision maker in the OMG’s Technology Adoption Process, which is responsible to drive the OMG standards for software engineering.
