ArcStyler to complement IBM’s development tool portfolio
Interactive Objects participates in the "Ready for IBM Rational Software" program to develop a tight integration of their leading MDA development tool ArcStyler with the recently announced IBM Software Development Platform.
As an IBM business partner, Interactive Objects was approached by IBM to participate in the "Ready for IBM Rational Software" program to strengthen the IBM Development Platform with its superior MDA technology. For this reason, Interactive Objects is currently developing a tight integration with IBM’s newly announced Rational Software Modeler -- a new Unified Modeling Language (UML) 2.0-based visual modeling and design tool for documenting and communicating the different views of a system. The integration of ArcStyler with the IBM Rational tools will be fully compliant with the Eclipse platform.
"Interactive Objects' ArcStyler is a leading software development environment for Model Driven Architecture (MDA). Our technology adds additional value to the IBM Rational Software Modeler, offering customers an extended ability to directly transform business process models into an expanded range of target executable applications", says Erich Gerber, CEO of Interactive Objects. "This helps create a dynamic link between their business and technology needs, enabling them to achieve significant productivity gains, greater flexibility to react to business change, and reduced maintenance cost. We are excited to pursue Ready for IBM Rational software validation for ArcStyler, which will help ensure the standard of our integration and provide broader choices to customers."
IBM views ArcStyler as a key tool for Model Driven Architecture, addressing important issues for the IBM developer community with its multi platform capability.
