Freiburg, May 11, 2004. Dieter Matheis (60), former CFO of SAP AG, has been appointed member of the Advisory Board of Interactive Objects Software GmbH. Matheis, a renowned specialist in the IT industry, will actively contribute his comprehensive experience to the further success of Interactive Objects. Matheis' background includes 17 years of work for SAP AG, from 1992 on as a member of the management. In his position as SAP's Chief Financial Officer (CFO), he was, among other things, responsible for the IPOs of SAP in Frankfurt (1988) and in New York (1998) and for the successful establishment of subsidiaries in more than 50 countries worldwide.

The appointment of Dieter Matheis is yet another step in Interactive Objects policy to expand its global market position as a leading solution provider for Model Driven Architecture (MDA), both with the software development platform ArcStyler and a complete offering of professional services.
